Senior Business Analyst

We are looking to hire a Lead Assortment Services Support Analyst who will be responsible for understanding how to run and compile data utilizing company provided tools, analyze data, and provide actionable insights for retailer businesses. This person will also oversee leading a small supporting team of analysts. They must be goal-oriented, motivating, timeline driven, comfortable interpreting data/results and presenting them effectively both internally and to retailer partners, while advocating for proposed enhancements. This position will support the retailer category teams along with the Assortment Services planning teams to positively impact sales margins.

The Lead Support Analyst will work closely with their business partners and analyst team to ensure desired business objectives are met. Responsibilities: • Support the execution of the Retailer’s decision-making process using consumer insights and market data. • Collaborate with category teams to identify specific goals for the merchandise reset. • Make recommendations regarding assortment and space allocation solutions which positively impact the Retailer’s sales margins and turnover. • Communicate issues to various teams and propose ideas for resolution. • Assist in compiling, analyzing, and most importantly presenting data for retail partners • Assist with running internal reports to determine product viability and preference. • Analyze data and translate it into actionable insights with the goal of driving sales. • Run and publish ad hoc reports as needed/requested. • Lead/oversee small team • Be the point person for certain tools and projects • Articulately communicate results and impactful data information to both your team and retail partners

Qualifications: • Preferred: Associates degree in Sales and/or Replenishment Analytics or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, prior assortment services experience. • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills. • Ability to work closely in a multi-functional cross-company team environment. • Comfortable creating and delivering effective persuasive presentations. • Able to meet team deadlines, delegate responsibilities, and manage time effectively • Prior club or large retailer analytical experience preferred • Comfortable overseeing and inspiring a small team
