The role of Retoucher collaborates closely with photographers, art directors, producers, project managers, and account leads to create visual marketing assets that meet the highest quality standards and align with our client's vision and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute retouching projects from project intake to final file delivery.
• Experienced in estimating the time, labor and skills needed to price and complete retouching jobs profitably, obtaining relevant project variables such as timelines, internal contacts and processes.
• Successfully create flexible, editable and curated retouched visual assets, in a multi-channel workflow, working in both digital and printed platforms.
• Retouching: Perform advanced retouching and post-production work on digital images (skin retouching, object removal, increasing resolution on files for quality reproduction, adding paths and shadows, and composite image creation).
• Workflow Coordination: receive and track all retouching projects; facilitate job estimates; manage cross-functional communication across client teams and project deadlines.
• Data Management: Manage and organize a high volume of large image files efficiently after project completion for potential re-use and editing.
• Continuous Education: required ongoing development to stay current with evolving visual processing technologies to develop state of the art levels of expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools, 3D software, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5+ years of experience as a professional Retoucher, preferably for a creative agency or corporate creative team, working in both print and digital formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Mac hardware,
• Working familiarity with Capture One, Cinema 4D, SmartSheet, HighTail and Asana.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage 5+ projects at once, and meet project deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing substantial retouching examples of beverage, product, and lifestyle photography, as well as printed point of sale files proving that you are familiar with preparing files for printed proofs.
