Employee Relations Manager - Remote

We are seeking a dynamic Manager Employee Relations to be responsible for managing members of the Employee Relations Team and aspects of the Employee Relations function to help ensure that strategic and tactical employee relations consultation, resolution and associated processes and initiatives are developed and executed in compliance with company policy, ethical and legal obligations and that relevant administrative processes are established and executed to support the Employee Relations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage designated Employee Relations team members to include staffing, hiring, workload management, work product review, training, coaching, engagement, growth and development, counseling, disciplinary action, and terminations, in collaboration with and subject to the approval of Employee Relations Director as needed.
  • Manage various Employee Relations functions including identification of opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
  • Continuously assess, anticipate and address HR / Employee Relations needs.
  • Develop strategies for resolving employee problems and counseling direct reports on implementation.
  • Conduct complex and/or sensitive workplace investigations (involving matters of ethics, policy, or law).
  • Provide strategic employee relations consultation to assigned business units or as requested by Employee Relations or other HR leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources or Behavioral Science or equivalent job-related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in applicable field
  • 3+ years supervising a team
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
  • Expert knowledge of employment laws and employee relations strategy and best practices
  • Exceptional people management, leadership, and team-building skills
