About the Marketing Associate Role:

The Marketing Associate will work closely with and support other Media and Business Management team members. This is a client-facing role so the Marketing Associate will manage his/her own list of clients and have ownership of day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with AUC Business Managers, our clients, and eCommerce vendors to help deliver strong sales growth and excellent customer support
  • Aid in the development of advertising strategies based on client goals and the role of eCommerce advertising in driving their brand growth
  • Ownership of assigned projects from onset and driving them to closure
  • Oversee Paid Search campaign management in all stages from creation and execution, to optimization and reporting through brand, competitive and category analysis
  • Keep Business Managers and Content team members in the loop about high or low-performing keywords to optimize SEM efforts
  • Consult with clients via email, phone calls, in-person meetings and reports, sharing AUC best practices and campaign recommendations
  • Assist in guiding Media Coordinator’s daily work

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with eCommerce channels (Amazon, Instacart, Kroger, Walmart, etc)
  • Paid search experience
  • Successful client/account management experience, including providing thought leadership on campaign strategies
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience as an effective team member with strong communications skills, reliability/integrity/maturity, and ability to self-start
  • Must be comfortable with the learning curve/constant change that comes with operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing world of eCommerce
  • Comfortable in spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets) and conducting deep analysis
  • Programmatic display knowledge preferred
  • Must have a dedicated home office with access to secure high-speed internet and phone, and sufficient space for two monitors (appropriate equipment will be provided).
  • Travel may occasionally be needed for client meetings or team building off-sites (~2x a year)
