What We Offer:

Average 20 hours/week for June, July, & August

Hourly Pay $25/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Wednesday – Saturday afternoons and evenings schedule with Monday Check-in meeting with Anheuser Busch Control State Personnel
  • Retail and on premise sampling and event execution
  • Attend Broker General Sales meetings (virtual or in person)
  • Work with Broker to learn the Control States distilled spirits business model including pricing, discounting, shelving and display strategies
  • Work with AB distributors and brokers in the field (Alabama and MoCo)
  • Present a brand plan or program to state liquor board if possible
  • Present internship recap to Anheuser-Busch, Broker, and Advantage team at the end of the program  

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor or Master Degree Program
  • 1 year plus working as Bartending experience (On Premise Sampling experience is a plus)
  • Due to the dispensing of alcohol, you must be 21 or older and requires Responsible Alcohol Training
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access
  • Must be available to work Wednesday-Sunday evenings
  • Passion for meeting new people and evangelizing outstanding products
  • Engaging, outgoing, approachable personality
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Advantage Marketing Partners is actively seeking part-time professional Brand Ambassadors to represent Anheuser-Busch for a national sampling initiative in strategic markets across the United States. Brand Ambassadors will represent various featured brands at key on/off premise accounts each week as scheduled by their Market Manager. Training, apparel, and sampling tools will all be provided for events.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit scheduled accounts weekly as provided by the Market Manager
  • Successfully complete 3 events on a nightly basis
  • Arrive in designated apparel with required items to complete the event
  • Engage consumers by offering samples and educating on the product
  • Formulate, develop, and maintain strong communication links with customers
  • Complete activation recaps
  • Provide feedback to Market Manager in order to improve sale of all brand  products
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key accounts and staff within assigned areas
  • Represent the company and its products to the media and customers in a positive manner

Position Summary

The ABI Territory Sales Representative is responsible for developing and growing sales volume in their assigned territories through relationship building, and effective fact-based selling and presentations with retail account’s operations personnel at store and market (district/region/etc.) level.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Selling

  • Developing and leveraging relationships with key influence and decision makers in assigned stores and markets.
  • Delivering consistent market level contact and administration as per client and customer standards.
  • Effectively gaining front end and main aisle presence of client brands
  • Comfortable working sampling events/promotions multiple times a weekto support placements

Achieving Results

  • Implement strategies to meet or exceed goals for assigned stores and markets.
  • Growing POS for client brands by executing initiatives as well as maintaining in stock conditions.
  • Analyzes and develops business plans each Quarter that identifies opportunities to grow sales within their territory.

Organizing and Planning

  • Follows team sales call standards and strategically implements a call coverage plan that meets the business needs of client and the retail customer.
  • Administration/Reporting: Complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, expense reports, etc.

Travel and/or Driving Requirements:

Education Level:

(Required): Associate's Degree

(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree

- 3-5 years of experience in Sales

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Field / Reps Requirements:

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment. Typically requires the ability to travel, drive, and engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.

he Intern works in one area of our business or a variety of teams including but not limited to: Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Special Events, and Warehouse & Delivery to gain knowledge and understanding of the alcohol distribution industry. The structured internship opportunity is designed to give students exposure to the wine and spirits industry and broad experience in various aspects of the relationship between marketing, sales, and distribution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with a variety of teams to become familiar in all aspects of the Sales Divisions
  • Support the Sales departments which include, but are not limited to Category Management, Distribution Warehouse Sales (DWS), Point of Sales (POS), Chain Merchandising Divisions and Graphics
  • Participate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities as available
  • Participate in the setup, working off and tear down of any special events, tastings, or functions as directed by the Supervisor
  • Assist with our On-Premise Surveys
  • Support the team with additional projects as assigned and defined by student's specific learning goals
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
