We are hiring a Part Time Premium Alcohol Brand Ambassador in local Meijer retailers on Thursdays and Fridays. To be successful in this role you are a certified mixologist with that actively engages with customers to understand their palate preferences by describing the different flavor profiles associated with products. You understand how the customer prefers their drinks poured and what type of occasion the product will be served, then suggest products based on the customers' likes and dislikes. This role is driven by product knowledge and previous bartending experience.
Things To Consider:
- Competitive pay starting at $30+ per hour based on experience
- To conduct alcohol events, you must be over 21.
- Must already have TIPS, TAM, or another MI State Accreditation with MLCC 2025 highly preferred
- Events are typically 4-6 hours on Thursday and Friday
- Possible weekend shifts conducting Alcohol product demonstrations, if available

What You'll Do:
- Generate brand awareness and positive alcohol product impressions to increase sales
- Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic manner with management, clients, and customers
- Assess customers' palate, interests, and usage to best recommend premium alcohol products
- Set up, break down, product preparation and sampling during in-store demonstrations
- Timely completion of all call reports, paperwork, and ongoing training
Qualifications:
- Certified mixologist, experience as bartender or have worked with alcohol required
- Experience in marketing, demonstrations, sales, or retail/grocery highly preferred
- Daily Internet/email access and/or smartphone required
- Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds and stand comfortably for up to 6 hours a day
