The Training Manager is responsible for managing the training and development team directly supporting SAS. The Training Manager will plan and develop effective training and development programs in a variety of formats. The training element of the work aims to give our associates the knowledge, attitudes, understanding, values, practical skills and motivation to carry out specific work-related tasks. In addition, the Training Manager will assess the training needs of the business through surveys, interviews, focus groups, observation or consultation with managers and senior leadership. The successful candidate will present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures. The Training Manager will also evaluate training materials prepared by specialists such as outlines, text, and handouts.
