Position Summary
The Digital Shelf Specialist (DSS) manages product page content on e-commerce websites – including amazon.com, walmart.com, Instacart, Target, homedepot.com and more – and help guide our clients to represent their products in the best way possible. The DSS manages and writes content for clients in many industries and works on large-scale e-commerce projects. They are directly responsible for all assigned clients’ digital product page content, and are expected to work closely with clients, Account Managers, Strategic Business Advisors (BMCOE), Content Account Managers, and other members from the Digital Shelf Specialist and Digital Artist teams.To be successful, the DSS will need to learn quickly, stay on top of new e-commerce trends, and be a motivated independent worker. Attention to detail, the ability to shift focus to different types of projects, manage several ongoing projects at once, and write and work efficiently in Excel.

Catalog Management and Copy Writing/Editing · Perform content maintenance using online vendor portals upload and manage copy & imagery in online retailer portals · Use Excel daily to organize and edit product information · Maintain product data on clients’ PIMs and DAMs · Write and edit copy for e-commerce Enhanced Content Creation · Collaborate with client Ecommerce Content Design team to create enhanced content · Implement enhanced content on digital portals · Update enhanced content when appropriate, or per request Onboarding New Products · Submits new items directly to retailer via their portal · Uploads images, PDFs, videos any additional materials for said products · Continues ongoing maintenance of said products after onboarding Syndication · Oversee catalog data structure management in PIM/DAM syndication tools such as Salsify, Syndigo, and CNET· Upload product information and content and ensure correct category-mapping, cataloging, and tagging of content assets· Track all new product updates and content changes and ensure updated content is available and syndicated to e-retailers in a timely manner· Understand differing attribution and content capabilities across retailer sites· Conduct quality-assurance audits for all published content and troubleshoot any digital shelf errors for accurate publication· Publish correct content to respective retail platformsAuditing Client and Project Management · CAMs, SBAs, Account Managers, External · Effective and concise communication over email and phone · When necessary, lead relationship with client as it pertains to their Digital Shelf Content · Takes ownership of projects, provides reasonable timelines to stakeholders · Ability to juggle competing priorities · Follows up with stakeholders when necessary | 50% 25 % 25 % |

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Field of Study/Area of Experience: 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, copywriting, project management or similar preferred
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Job duties include additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department.
