As an Account Manager at SixSpeed, you know how to own and navigate client relationships. Account Managers are obsessed with submerging themselves into our clients’ businesses and use their knowledge to develop and grow relationships that add value to the client and agency. We are looking for a responsible and collaborative teammate to work internally and create great work, sell in, and execute to ensure high client satisfaction and account growth. No schmoozers here – just solid business-oriented individuals who are likable and capable.

Although our Minneapolis office is accessible, we are open to hiring fully-remote candidates for this position. Six Speed company is a division of Advantage Solutions.


  • Build and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders; act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Establish and maintain credibility and leadership with the client through strategic thinking and the use of sound judgment when solving problems
  • Leverage understanding of the brand, client and our core competencies to ensure the right questions are asked related to client requests and that we have a clear understanding of the work that is requested
  • Manage client expectations and provide conflict resolution
  • Manage client budgets and work with internal teams to find solutions to fit client needs
  • Offer new solutions and creative problem-solving
  • Leading strategic brand and marketing planning and executio


  • Lead and manage annual account planning and financials for assigned accounts
  • Develop and present quarterly business reviews to senior management
  • Collaborate with and lead internal team to create great work, sell in, and execute well
  • Share client business information so that the entire team has the appropriate understanding of client information/knowledge
  • Explore the industry landscape and available resources to provide additional knowledge, information and perspective to the team and client
  • Sell and upsell ideas to clients to address their business needs
  • Define goals and objectives of a project with client and populate the creative direction portion of the brief
  • Prepare and present proposals, scope of work documents, and estimates with clients
  • Co-lead project kick-offs, account status, and debrief meetings with the team
  • Be the voice and buffer between your clients and SixSpeed (and vice versa)
  • Work with Project Managers to oversee creative and production process, acting as “eyes” of client
  • Work with Experiential Team in client communication, meetings and experiences
  • Manage SixSpeed’s business as it relates to your clients
  • You have 3-5 years of Account Management experience in the marketing/advertising and agency realm
  • You tout a bachelor’s degree
  • You’re always thinking about what’s next and determined to find a way
  • You’re obsessed with asking questions and digging deeper
  • You’re a natural at being a trusted partner, building and maintaining relationships
  • You are passionate about building brands and finding new opportunities for them to grow
  • You have a natural sense of urgency and work well under pressure
