What is a Product Demonstrator?
When strolling the aisles of your favorite retailer did you ever notice the people handing out hot samples of food? They’re chatting with customers, cooking up bite size snacks and basically hosting a little party in the frozen foods section?
These are Product Demonstrators and they help brands share their latest offerings with consumers, giving people the chance to try before they buy. We’re proud to say we employ the best Product Demonstrators in the business!
What does a typical day look like?
Product Demonstrators are friendly, love talking to people, enjoy working in retail environments and being around food. On a typical day, the associate will come in, set up the cart, pull sample food from the back of the store and make sure they have everything hot and fresh for when their “event” starts. They will share samples, coupons, tips, and information about the products throughout the event and then clean up the cart after it’s over. Product Demonstrators have some flexibility, working both a few weekdays and weekend days. However, late nights are never required.
At Advantage Solutions we’re always adding to our Product Demonstrator roster as both our client lists and the products they introduce grows.
Where are there openings?
We have openings available all over the country and with all our clients, from Costco, to BJs, Walmart to Kroger, and just about everywhere in between. We share samples of everything from tasty bites to delicious drinks and our associates enjoy perks like part time benefits, flexible schedules and more.
These roles are entry level (you can even apply for some of these roles at 17!) and require some lifting (up to 40 lbs) and standing throughout the event.
